Entrepreneurial Competence: Using Machine Learning to Classify Entrepreneurs

Competencies are behaviors that some people master better than others, which makes them more effective in a given situation. Considering entrepreneurship translates into behaviors, the competency-based approach expresses attributes necessary generation of such with greater precision. By virtue dynamic and complicated nature entrepreneurial phenomena and, especially, numerous data sets variables accompany entrepreneur, it has become increasingly difficult to characterize it. In this study, we use predictive analysis from machine learning (unsupervised learning) order determine if individual is an based on measures 20 competence relative classification ranking. We investigated relationship using sample 6649 individuals Latin American context series algorithms include following: logistic regression, principal component analysis, ranking Ward method, linear discriminant Gaussian regression among others.
